Kids, the Northern Lights are beautiful glowing colors in the sky!
You can mostly see them near the North Pole and South Pole of Earth.

Why?
Because tiny particles from the Sun get pulled toward the poles by Earth’s magnetic field—like invisible lines guiding them.

When these particles reach the sky, they make bright colors that dance around like magic!

The same patterns appear at both poles at the same time, almost like mirror twins.

And guess what?
Astronauts in space can see the Northern Lights from above Earth too!”
